The importance of that first impression can’t be underestimated. Often times your sign is the first thing a customer sees of your business.  There are many things to consider when choosing a sign including size, color, font, direction of exposure, the speed of traffic at your location, landlord and municipality requirements, neon or LED choices and even your hours of operation. Channel Signs are generally shaped from aluminum and are either individually mounted on the building or attached on a raceway which in turn is attached to the building.  Most but not all landlords require a raceway as this method reduces the amount of holes needed in the building and also significantly reduces the install cost.  Neon is the most popular choice for illumination but advances in LED technology, namely brightness, is gaining popularity for this choice due to its lower power needs as well as durability.  A very creative sign choice is utilizing a “Reverse Halo” design.  See the Main Street Bistro image.  In this method the sign is set a few inches from the wall and the actual letters are dark – at night the absence of light defines the letter with light emanating from the edges.

Non-Illuminated Signs like Bryles Research and Pursuant are appropriate choices for this type business and utilize creative architectural elements.  At Infinity Signs we can faithfully reproduce any corporate logo.

Cabinet Signs are mostly rectangular but can have a contour cut adding to its creativity.  These signs are back-lit by fluorescent tubes and are therefore are less expensive to maintain.

Pan Signs are like shallow Cabinet Signs that are not illuminated with the business name displayed with cut vinyl or sometimes a digital print.  A pan sign is often used in business parks, commercial properties or anywhere illumination is not needed or required.
