A halo lit sign uses the absence of light to form the letters through an outline of light generated by neon or LED. Business signs like this can really stand out from other signs. The letters that form XTC in this photo is a combination of front and back lit. The front part is somewhat dimmed by the application of the translucent burgundy faces, the back is reverse halo – the effect is stunning.
